Emotional support is the foundation on which our philosophy is based, and is directly linked to emotional wellness.
Often, during or immediately after a very traumatic experience,you will need emotional support before counselling can really work. Emotional support is provided through one-on-one interactions and trauma containment as well as through the forming of support groups and mentorship programmes.
We recognise that care-givers are as much in need of emotional support as those they care for, and implement the above interventions for our client, our staff and our volunteer lay-counsellors.
