Accreditation with HWSETA:
After two years of intensive work by the LRU staff, LifeLine Southern Africa received full accreditation as an education and training service provider with HWSETA. Work leading up to this achievement involved the development of a Quality Management System and at least one registered learning program. The LRU succeeded in registering 4 learning programs with HWSETA at the time of accreditation.
The next step in the process is to enable LifeLine Centres to provide accredited training. This process has been the main focus of the LRU. Training on accredited service provision and product training on Module 1 of the Peer Educator Development Programme has already been offered to several LifeLine Centres.
