Telkom to fund Peer Education Project
As a follow-up for the awareness campaign carried out by the Gender Wellness Programme in 2006, a Peer Education project has been approved and funded by the Telkom Foundation and will be implemented in the Northern Cape and Mpumalanga, starting in October 2007 and ending in March 2008. The Project will target women’s groups and high schools that are sponsored by Telkom.
