Being Emotionally Well means that you have a high self esteem and thatyou are happy living in your own skin. When you feel unbalanced, you can become depressed and if this is not treated properly it can lead to various illnesses and even death through suicide. It is vital that everybody has a good self image.
Depression is a disorder of the brain and body’s ability to create and balance a normal range of thoughts, emotions and energy.
- We can inherit depression from our genes
- Hormonal imbalances
- Poor nutrition
- Grief and loss
- Emotional trauma
- Rape, assault etc
It prevents you from enjoying and living life and can ruin your life completely.
- Being stressed out and eventually burning out completely
- Having a negative outlook on life
- Can’t sleep or sleep to much
- Hating life
- Can’t get or keep a job
Yes, this is very dangerous and should be treated as soon as possible.
